Crowne Plaza Clayton Accommodations

Recently remodeled and converted from a former Radisson, the Crowne Plaza is a joy to stay in for all. The hotel rooms are decorated in a contemporary style, but its the "sleep experience" that really lulls you in, with extremely comfortable beds and a duvet that many people ask to purchase after staying. They also include a little baggie of goodies to help people sleep better at night. This includes lavender spray, eye blocks, and a special "sounds to sleep to" CD that you can play in the room's CD player. Those traveling with a loved one may want to consider the honeymoon suites, which have heart shaped hot tubs in the room. For people looking for a bit of extra space, they should request a room in the executive tower. They'll get two double sized beds, a considerably larger room, and a fantastic bathroom for about $25 a night over your standard two double room.

Amenities offered

As far as amenities go, there is the standard weight room, and a restaurant on site (Max's American Grill - $-$$). There's also a year round pool, and a free video game room for the children. The hotel provides free shuttle pick up and drop off to the airport. There's also a nearby Metrolink stop which will take you to downtown St. Louis, Forest Park (home to the Zoo, Science Center, History Museum, Art Museum, and Skating Rink), and the Galleria (shopping mall).

There's also free wi-fi Internet in the rooms, and a business center for people to work more securely.
