Overall, a nice stay for the fee we paid. The rooms were very nice sized, and had a semi-home feel. I would suggest it to both people with families, weekend warriors, and businesspeople who want a home away from home.

Size of the room and the homelike" feel"

There was a party in the room above us. This seemed so ironic and annoying since I was required to sign a no-party" waiver/clause."

It was a great place to stay. The staff was very helpful with directions, had them on cards, and anything else we asked about. The room was great, loved the fireplace and large bathroom. Definitely would stay there again.

I loved the fireplace and the refrigerator in the room.

I would have liked to be closer to the food area.

The Residence Inn is a very good place to stay for extended stays. The staff was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and in the evening, they offered a full meal.

The services were very good. I enjoyed the evening barbecue.

The hotel is located near an interstate, so I could hear traffic noise.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott St Louis Westport comprises 127 suites each with fully equipped kitchens and separate living and sleeping areas. The two-story, non-smoking hotel is ideally suited to the extended stay business traveler or families on vacation. The property is half a mile from the Westport Plaza, which features a wide variety of restaurants and entertainment. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, social get-togethers on Monday through Thursday evenings from 5.30pm until 7pm, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 20 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include three golf courses, a Six Flags theme park, the Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium, home of the St Louis Cardinals, Union Station, Lacledes Landing, the St Louis Zoo, Soulard Farmers Market and the City Museum.

Former guests at this Residence Inn said the hotel offered great value and the suites were clean, comfortable and well equipped. Several clients said it was quiet, despite the proximity to the expressway. Many enjoyed the evening socials where they met new friends and traded travel tales.
