Customer Reviews for Hyatt Regency St. Louis

Great service - posted on 01/20/2006

The service here was outstanding. We had gone out for dinner earlier in the evening and brought leftovers back. We had no silverwear, so I called the front desk to ask about the posibility of finding some. The desk attendant was there 5 min. later with 2 sets of silverwear. The only complaint I have is the lack of a refrigerator. Other than that, it was an amazing experience that I will be returning to!!!

Awesome Hotel - posted on 01/03/2007

Union Station is a destination in itself. If you love historic architecture at all, stay here. Having drinks in The Grand Hall was amazing, the room was great, service was excellent. Take time to poke around all the hallways; there's more to Union Station than the mall. Also has a convenient Metro stop just behind Union Station.

Great trip - posted on 12/18/2006

The room was great and I loved the bathroom. The mall was also great. The staff was very helpful and room service was very quick. The staff also greeted you by name which was very nice. I will be going back.

Delusions of Grandeur - posted on 08/31/2006

Loved the staff, loved the service, felt welcomed from the minute we walked in the door. If your going for a game, stay in one of the hotels by the field, same thing for the arch. This hotel is just far enough to make walking uncomfortable. The mall at union station was dissapointing to say the least. I didn't feel safe anywhere, people asking for money everytime we left the hotel and sleeping across the street in the park. Hyatt staff were Amazing, they can't help their surroundings.

BRing your walking shoes. - posted on 07/18/2006

The room, the service, and the staff were wonderful! Breakfast bar was disappointing - the restaurant is beautiful. Beds are great - good thing because by the time you get to your room, you need to rest. If you have any knee or walking problems, think twice - there is no easy access to the rooms, especially the second floor. A manager we use the service elevator but getting to the hotel elevators is still quite a trek through the mall. The front desk told us at checkout that we could have requested a room closer to the elevator, so bear that in mind.

Beautiful Hotel! - posted on 07/08/2006

This is a beautiful hotel with comfortable accomodations. Downtown St. Louis, Arch & Busch Stadium are a quick 5 minute drive. Budweiser Brewery was a 15 minute drive. The hotel offers valet and self-parking. The self-park is across the street from the mall entrance and is safe and can be accessed via hotel key card after hours. Try to stay on the Regency Club Level!

great architecture - posted on 06/01/2006

It is a lovely hotel, with nice rooms. However, the rooms were without a safe or minibar. Also, they were poorly insulated--you could hear noise in the hallway. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was not very good--would not go there again.

Great Blues headquarters; mall a nice diversion with restaurant variety; valet and bellhop in front (Market St.) definitely worth the price to avoid long walk to back 40

Super Service - posted on 10/17/2005

Took the metro from the airport straight to the hotel - wonderfully convenient. Took metro from hotel to the stadium - more convenience. Ambience is superb. Most of my family stayed as we were in town for my father's funeral. Everyone from bellhop to desk to room service to maids were friendly and polite. Can't wait to go back!

High Quality - in every-which-way - posted on 08/16/2005

I travel for work and leisure every week. I was very much pleased and in many ways pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of their accommodations/facilities and certainly their service; and I'm basing this recommendation on my travel experiences and exposure to many hotels. The beautiful and historic 'Union Station' itself is worth a trip - just to see this outstanding architectural masterpiece! Stay here...... you'll be glad you did.

2 day BUSY! - posted on 08/14/2005

Parking! $12.00 for self parking and $15.00 for valet. Without using the bellhop.. you will have to go through the mall, dragging ALL your luggage, hoping it won't open up and that you are strong enough to haul it up stairs and manage the elevator! Hopefully you WON'T get lost!! The locked door to the hotel is sometimes hard to find! Once you have mastered that.. it's a wonderful place to stay.

WOW! - posted on 07/12/2005

This historic grand hotel is just beautiful! Great Buy! The service is outstanding. I travel on business quite often and found its location perfect as it is connected to a mall. I didn't even have to worry about a cab. Very convenient - All under one roof!

The only place we stay now - posted on 02/23/2005

Anytime we go to St. Louis for the weekend I only book at the Hyatt. It's location to dining, entertainment, sports, etc is perfect. The rooms are beautiful and it incorporates the history of Union Station into the hotel Grand Hall. It's just beautiful and the service is fabulous.

A nice weekend getaway! - posted on 11/22/2004

We stayed at the Hyatt for two nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel was magnificent with many places to eat and shop. Parking was the only minor imperfection, having to pay $12.00 per day. But for $a night, we had no complaints! Seriously consider this hotel not only for the value but it's locaiton.
