Worst hotel stay ever - posted on 02/27/2007
This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was not ADA accessible and has made no effort respond after numberous letters. The hotel was run down with large water spots and a strong odor. Not recommended.

This hotel was so awful that I walked over to the Holiday Inn and BEGGED for a room. I do not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

This hotel was the worst I've stayed in. The room was dirty appearing as though it had not been cleaned after the other quests. It was a pit to say the least. It cannot be recommended to anyone.

We were there for government business and would not recommend this Days Inn to anybody. A glance under the bed hunting for a electical outlet revealed that the floor had not been vacuumed in weeks, or longer. The place looked OK but felt, and was, dirty. The service was nonexistent. If I asked for something I was told "brusquely" I could transfer to another room that had the item I wanted. The locked doors with the clear plastic windows between the attendant and customer should have been an indicator. The towel racks were literally hanging on by a loose screw. There were gaps in the corners of the walls where they did not meet. I still like Days Inn but I'd never return to the Airport Days Inn in St. Louis. I'd be embarrassed if I were Days Inn to have that facility in my inventoryl

The shuttle evening driver was the most kind man. He gave us such excellent service to Mass at the Airport and he again drove us from the airport when we arrived home from our trip. This man should be well paid as he could have not done more for us. We were very pleased with our two night stay at the Days Inn. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Will stay there again and the price for AARP members cannot be beat. I am happy to share the experienence with you.

If this is a 2 star hotel, then I would hate to see a 1 star hotel. I am a fairly tight traveler always looking for bargains. This place was completely unacceptable. The first room we were assigned literally had the bathroom door attached by only 1 of 3 hinges. The pulls for the blinds were a disgusting shade of brown from the dirt that had accumulated over the years. If you have a child, stay away. If you have any sense of cleanliness, stay away. I suspect many of the patrons are of the hourly sort.
Not So Good - posted on 07/22/2004
The bathroom was horrible. The two hand rails were loose from the wall, the caulking around the bathtub was cracked and dark, the tile around the faucet was sunken in, the bathroom ceiling was cracked badly, the bathroom door had a hole in it in the past with a pathetic patch job. The pillows were small, smelled, and of poor quality. I felt like I was in the ghetto. I will not be staying there again. I had a much nicer room at the Drury Inn in Indiana for less money.
Dirty , Filthy Motel - posted on 04/28/2004
I travel a lot in my busness. Before this stay a Family Inn in Knoxville was the worstmotel I had stayed in now this one is a the top of my list. Yes it is an older motel but it could be clean. My bed looked like I was not the first one to sleep in it that night! I got there late and did the the best I could. I don't judge all Days Inn's by this one but I've spent a lot of money at Days Inn's. Bill Stephenson
