About the Clarion Hotel Sports Complex

Located in Missouri, Kansas is the Clarion Hotel Sports Complex. This budget-friendly hotel is close to the Truman Sports Complex (hence the hotel name). Thus, it is ideally located for the sports fans traveling with you. Also nearby is the Kansas City Zoo. Shoppers will appreciate its proximity to Oak Park Mall and the Independence Center. There are even a few casinos located just a short drive away.

Unfortunately, the Clarion Hotel Sports Complex received very mixed reviews. While this hotel does provide you with a number of amenities the overall impression of the place was quite poor. Rumor has it that it is undergoing renovations in 2008. Hopefully we’ll be able to recommend this hotel once these renos have been completed. Read our customer reviews?

Clarion Hotel Sports Complex Accommodations

In addition to the available guestrooms patrons can also choose to stay in a suite. Rooms can either be smoking or non-smoking, king or double beds. A few rooms also come with a refrigerator and microwave. In room amenities include high-speed Internet, TV with pay-per-view movies, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

Stay in shape at the fitness room, which comes equipped with a sauna and whirlpool. There’s also an outdoor pool for you enjoy. Enjoy a snack as you watch a game on the big screen at Player’s Sports Bar. The Pantry is ideal for breakfast and Paddy O’Quigley’s Pub and Grille is a nice option for dinner. Or, enjoy a meal from room service (available 6 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.). The Clarion Hotel Sports Complex also provides dry cleaning services.

From the airport (North): Take Brasalia to I-435 East. Go approximately 9 miles. Then take I-435 South for 17.1 miles and take the I-70 East. Exit 63 B. Merge onto I-70 East for .4 miles to Exit 9, Blue Ridge Cutoff. Turn left. Proceed 1 block north to 39th street, turn right. Hotel is on the right.

From the East: Take I-70 West to Exit 9, Blue Ridge Cutoff. Turn right and proceed to 39th street. Turn right on 39th and hotel is on the right.

From the West. Take I-70 East to Exit 9, Blue Ridge Cutoff. Turn left. Proceed 1 block north to 39th street, turn right. Hotel is on the right. From the South, take 435N to I-70 E to Exit 9, Blue Ridge Cutoff. Turn left; proceed 1 block north to 39th street, turn right. Hotel is on the right.
