Very accessible to crown center and union station. Lots of fast food restaurants nearby, but hard to find family dining nearby due to downtown location. Enjoyed staying at Fairfield inn. Quality and personable service. Very pleased.

Good continental breakfast, clean pool and rooms, friendly helpful staff.

Needs to have people at front desk visible. Had to wait for help.

Staff was very friendly, the breakfast was wonderful each morning and always had plenty of food for all their guests to eat. We would stay there again if ever in the area.

Rooms were nice and cold and very clean.

Hotel was not that close to any restaurants.

The 116-room Fairfield Inn by Marriott Kansas City/Union Hill provides reasonably priced accommodation equally suited to the business or leisure traveler. The four-story, non-smoking hotel is located in historic Union Hill, half a mile from downtown and two miles from the Country Club Plaza. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 75 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include six golf courses, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Battle Hall Convention Center, Kansas City Zoo and the Harry S. Truman Library and Museum.

Several clients who stayed at this Fairfield Inn say there was a home-like feeling about the hotel. The staff was friendly and efficient and the rooms clean, comfortable and spacious. Many liked the location, within walking distance of shopping and entertainment at the Crowne Center and said they would use this inn on future visits to the city.
