This hotel upper level lounge had an outstanding view of the country club plaza and the lights at night.
I really enjoyed the concierge lounge and the view from the lounge.

This hotel was a great place for a romantic weekend. Right across the street from the Famous Country Club Plaza. Room was a good size, with a nice reading chair and a great King Sized Bed. The bed was a little too hard and the pillows were a little too soft, but other than that it was a wonderful stay!!!
The location was wonderful, right across the street from the World Famous Country Club Plaza.
The Beds were somewhat hard.

I would definitely go back. the location was great, it felt safe, the food was amazing, the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was absolutely amazing.
Water leak on floor in room by bath.

Regular visitors to Kansas City rate this InterContinental Hotel highly. It is an older property but it is well maintained the management and employees take care of problems promptly. There were some minor moans that rates were high here but several clients said if you wanted luxury and quality you had to pay the price. The location is ideal, within steps of the Country Club Plaza entertainment district, and many guests said they cannot wait to return to this hotel.
