Located close to Kansas City, the Holiday Inn Express Kansas City Airport is a three-storey, non-smoking hotel. It has recently been renovated to include updated décor and furnishing for pleasant short stays. Casual meals and snacks are available at Café Weatherby, where kids dine for free. A few dining options are located near the hotel’s vicinity. One mile from the hotel is the KCI Expo Center while the Zona Rosa Shopping Pavilion is three miles away. Standing 15 miles from the hotel is the Ameristar Casino, Ocean’s of Fun, World’s of Fun, City Market, and Crown Center Plaza Downtown. The Wyandotte County Fair Grounds, Kansas Speedway, Isle of Capri Casino, and Woodlands Racetrack are all 20 miles away.

The hotel is great for travelers who do not want to venture too far from the Airport, especially those who require some sleep between jetting in on a late night flight, and before catching an early morning flight. Rooms are comfortable although some guests have found the bathroom to be a tad small. There have also been varying reports on the attentiveness of staffs.
