like the hotel very much, close to the casinos and shopping.

Staff was very pleasant, hotel was clean, large bed and very roomy.

Children in the swimming pool were loud.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very clean, the staff seemed friendly. This hotel is ideal for travelers with children because it has a nice sized pool, ping pong table, and an arcade game room. It is also located directly across from Worlds of Fun.

I liked that the hotel rooms overlooked the pool and it was a very inviting place as well.

Restaurant prices were kind of high.

The room itself was okay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely had a "stale" odor in the room hallways. Bathrooms were clean. It is sort of "off the beaten path" but would stay again if had companion.

Now that this Holiday Inn has undergone a major renovation complaints that the public areas were looking a little tired and worn will stop. Regular visitors to this hotel have always enjoyed top-notch service from a professional team and friendly and the property remains the closest full-service hotel to many of the area attractions. Two major plus points for this property are its tropical atrium with a swimming pool and the free shuttle service to the nearby attractions.
