We had a very nice stay and when we stay in K.C. again I will try to stay at the Marriott. I had not been down that way before to stay. The staff was very friendly the food was really good. The only thing that upset me was I had to pay 10.00 to park in the hotel garage when I paid for a room there. That should be a courtesy.

The hotel was convenient, clean and the staff polite and Courteous. However each morning of my stay at 8:15 housekeeping was knocking on my door, not only awaking prematurely, but returned 20 min later to do so again. I felt it was abrupt, pre mature, and in very poor customer service to be awoken not once but twice each day as though I had overstayed my welcome. This I find particularly inappropriate and offensive given that checkout time is not until 12pm. Just a small piece of trivia for those who read this. It used to be customary to place a pineapple top on a guests breakfast tray to indicate politely that they had overstayed their welcome, perhaps Marriott should take stock in that concept or at least improve their customer service.

Very clean room, incredibly nice bed.

I felt heavily rushed to check out.

The 983room Marriott Kansas City Downtown provides luxury accommodation at an affordable price for both the business traveler and families on vacation. The 22-story, two-tower complex is located in the center of the citys business, government and theater districts. Items included with the room rate at this non-smoking, full service hotel are local telephone calls, in-room coffee and tea and a morning newspaper. Many travelers who stayed here say that this is a grand and glorious Marriott in a great location, close to the theater and business district, with a stunning waterfall in the atrium lobby. This is a big hotel with almost 1,000 rooms, but most guests they still received personal service and would chose this hotel for future visits to the city.
