This 731-room luxury property is filled with dining options and has an efficient 24-hour front desk that knows the city attractions. The Hyatt Regency Crown Center has been renovated and hotel is adjacent to the Crown Center Exhibit Hall and just minutes from downtown, the Country Club Plaza, and nearby theaters and restaurants. For meetings and events the hotel has the largest ballroom in Kansas City and employs experts for planning weddings and banquets. Nearby attractions include the Arabia Steamboat Museum, the Liberty Memorial Museum and Monument, Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, American Jazz Museum and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

Business travelers praised this hotel highly for its up-to-date business center and good location. Several leisure travelers said it was not the best Hyatt Regency they had stayed in but enjoyed the wide choice of dining and the covered walk way to the Crown Center Shopping Plaza. Hyatt Regency Crown Center Accommodations

The rooms come with a choice of one king or two double beds and have views of the Kansas City skyline or the Crown Center. The granite bathrooms have a hair dryer and there is a separate work area with Internet access. Other amenities include satellite TV, iron and ironing board, minibar, and IDD telephone with voicemail. All guests receive a morning newspaper and room service is available during regular hours.

Dining options include Skies, Kansas City's only revolving restaurant, located atop of the hotel and open for dinner The Peppercorn Duck Club is open for lunch and dinner and specialties include rotisserie duckling, oven roasted rack of lamb and honey roasted pheasant. Milano is an upscale Italian restaurant situated in a glass pavilion overlooking Crown Center Square open for lunch and dinner. Crayola Café is the kids friendly eatery and there is a sports bar and grill as well as food service on the terrace and at the poolside. The fitness center is open 24/7 and features a climate-controlled pool and a fully equipped fitness area, steam room, sauna and hot tub. The hotel is international headquarters of Hallmark Cards, Inc., featuring Kaleidoscope, Hallmark's free creative workshop for kids ages 5 to 12, and Hallmark Visitors Center.

From Kansas City International Airport (20 miles): Take I-29 South to U.S. 169 South (169 turns into Broadway). Proceed on Broadway to 20th Street. Turn left (east) and proceed to McGee. Turn right onto McGee Street. The hotel is three blocks uphill on the left.
