Missouri’s capital is Jefferson City. Its stunning Capitol Building makes that quite evident. Stretching over three acres it is a beautiful building that also serves as the Missouri State Museum. You’ll learn all about Missouri’s history and see great exhibits showcasing momentous occasions. Downtown Jefferson City has more than just the State Capitol. There are many historic buildings, including the Supreme Court and State Governors Mansion that depict beautiful architecture. Although the entire city has many great shopping and dining districts Old Munichburg is a must if you only have a short time to visit.

I grew up in Jefferson City and my favorite places are Arris Pizza, Zesto and most of all Central Dairy. All of these are very traditional places to eat by locals and visitors. Our Capitol building is a must see also.
