The 152-room Courtyard By Marriott Columbia is convenient to Kansas City, St. Louis and Lake of the Ozarks. The four-story, non-smoking hotel provides quality accommodation equally suited to the business or pleasure traveler. The hotel is a short drive from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Columbia and Stephens College, the Shelter Insurance headquarters and LeMone Industrial Park. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There are two meeting rooms available for business or social events. The larger can accommodate 50 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include two golf courses, several wineries, the Katy Trails, Shelter Gardens, the Twilight Festival district, UMC concerts and sporting events, the Isle of Capri and Jefferson City.

A minor gripe is that the hotel is not in the center of town but many preferred the quieter location.
