Location, location, location. Perfect for mall of America and perfect for getting on and off 35E and 94W. Walked down the street to Irish grill and bar, xcel energy center right across the street.

Pool, hot tub, pub, restaurant.

13 dollar parking 2 days too much.

Good location, easy access and close to places we needed to get to. Clean, everything in room worked. Helpful staff at desk. Excellent food at hotel restaurant.

Service Recovery- The hotel did have thin walls, our neighbors were loud at 3:30 a.m., and the hotel compensated us with free meals.

We enjoyed a walk down to the river and walking to eat supper that evening. The hot tub was clean and in a brightly lit area.

Nice hot tub in a well lit area and close to interesting eating places and the river.

The 194-room Holiday Inn St. Paul Downtown is minutes from the area's local corporations and best attractions and the property operates a courtesy shuttle within a three mile radius of the hotel. Other items included with the room rate at this seven-story full-service hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and in-room coffee. There are five rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 100 guests. Corporate offices close to the hotel include Traveler's Insurance, Ecolab and Lawson Software. Other area attractions and landmarks include the Xcel Energy Center, which hosts concerts and is the home of the Minnesota Wild hockey team, the Minnesota Children's Museum, Ordway Center for Performing Arts, the Minnesota History Center and the Science Museum of Minnesota.

The location across the street from the Xcel Energy Center is one of the major benefits of using this downtown hotel. Those who have stayed here at this Holiday Inn say the rooms are clean and comfortable and the service is friendly and efficient. An unexpected bonus was the complimentary shuttle to nearby businesses and many clients enjoyed a meal in the hotels Irish pub. The Internet access was free but sadly the parking was not.
