This charming hotel is set in the a historic area of Saint Paul. It has train tracks running in the middle of the lobby. The Breakfast area is very quaint and looks like a train platform.

Do not stay at this hotel if you are planning to attend and evening concert or event in St. Paul. Contrary to the Holiday Inn Web Site, there is no complimentary shuttle in the evenings or weekends. It is also a good can ride away from the downtown area.

We were not offered the option of a non-smoking room. The front desk people weren't very efficient at answering their phone when we called them either. It was quite noisy in the evening past 11 pm.
