Great Stay, good breakfast, neat building!

It was a neat building and set up.

The room we had was next to a door and it slammed loudly.

The hotel check in was swamped when we arrived and only one person behind the desk to check us all in. She was supposed to call cab service for 4 different parties but that got all messed up! The room was very spacious and clean but it was so hot you couldn't sleep. I turned the heat off but it never got any cooler. The bed was really hard and all I did was toss and turn all night. Coffeemaker in room but no coffee. Loved the layout and decor of the hotel though and in a very good location.

The ingenious way that this establishment was converted from a train station to hotel.

The room was too hot and the bed was too hard.

Our first night the room was too hot. In the morning we mentioned it at the desk and they happily changed our room and upgrade us to a suite, this was not necessary but it was handled very nicely.

This hotel was built in an old train station. It had a lot of character.

All was fine.

The Best Western at Bandana Square in St. Paul is a terrific choice when you are visiting the area for business or just to see the sites of the city. It is within walking distance to the Minnesota State Fairground, if you like to walk and the weather is good. The hotel is great if you are participating in Fairground events, such as the horse or dog shows, or want to experience the State Fair itself. If you have business anywhere in St. Paul, the hotel is a great place to stay to get to where you need to go. The Best Western is also close to a number of leisure time activities for yourself, your family, or even your business associates.
