Chocolate Covered Strawberries And Champagne - posted on 05/01/2004
My husband and I were excited to go to this downtown hotel with a mall on the first three floors and chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. The chocolate covered strawberries and champagne were AWESOME but I did the mall was terrible and desolate, if that word is correct. There were only a few stores in the mall, there wasn't much for a mall. We were excited to go to a hotel with a mall but were very disappointed. Another thing about having a mall on the first three floors is that we had to do TONS of walking with heavy suitcases and two different elevators to get from our car in the parking ramp, down the elevator, through the mall, up an elevator to check in, through the hotel, and up an elevator again to get to our rooms!!! We were so exhausted, but it was nice to have some champagne to kill some of the pain from our sore feet. This hotel is good if you have lots of energy and don't care much about shopping.

My husband and I have spent several weekends at the Marriott Minneapolis City Center. We have never been disappointed. Bravo to the Marriott City Center staff who have gone out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and worry free!
