Apparently there are different levels of stay at this hotel. When I read of the breakfast I chose this hotel because of the pool and the breakfast for our teen-age girls. The pool was small, but okay, the breakfast was $8.95 per person.

Clean room, staff was friendly.

The breakfast was not free, felt it was misleading. Relatively far from Mall of America, there were a lot closer hotels.

Upon entering hotel to check in-day manager immediately began to lecture me about booking online-that I "wouldn't save any money by doing business this way" that it was the same price if I booked through "her" website! Fact of the matter was (she never asked) was that I booked at this particular hotel because of its location- not price- apparently I looked like someone who needed to save money. Not the case- I have stayed in much more expensive hotels worldwide. Then the woman went on to tell me how she was doing me a favor, getting me a non-smoking room because the hotel was booked- I counted 15 cars in the parking lot on Friday night! This person needs to get out of the hospitality business.

Hotel was in a very convenient location.

Pool was tiny, lounge was a joke.

The Hilton Garden Inn Bloomington hotel, about seven-miles from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, is situated at I-494. Mall of America, featuring American Girl and Nickelodeon Universe theme park, is minutes from the inn. A courtesy shuttle to the mall and the airport saves money and time of guests. The hotel offers an array of amenities for traveling executives and vacationers. Free business center remains open round the clock. Thoughtful facilities of the Hilton ensure a productive and enjoyable stay. Most of the guests were happy with adjustable beds, comfortable rooms, HDTVs, hospitality centers, complimentary Wi Fi, well-equipped 24-hour business center, fitness center, attractive lobby, food at the restaurant, shuttle service and friendly and accommodating staff. They would love to stay here again. However, some visitors griped about small pool, expensive food and poor service.
