The rooms and service was great, but the hotel was under construction, which we had to walk through to get to our room. Whatever the construction workers were using had a horrible smell that we also had to go through to get to our room. Stay would have been great if not for this. If we could have stayed elsewhere in the hotel, our rating would have been higher.

Rooms were great.

Entire area around our room smelled terribly because of construction.

Great location - you can walk to the Mall of America and lots of places to eat close by. They were very friendly and the room had a refrigerator and microwave. I don't like it when hotels have adult movies on the TV since I sometimes have my kids with me on trips.

They let us check in at 9:00 am after just getting off the Amtrak train. They were very helpful and eager to answer questions.

The breakfast was the exact same everyday - maybe a little variety and some fruit.

The Country Inn & Suites By Carlson (Bloomington) at Mall of America is located in one of the busiest areas in town. The inn offers easy access to the best shopping spots in Bloomington as well as chic dining destinations and places of entertainment. The décor in this hotel is very contemporary and youd love the modern luxuries the place provides as well. Guests can enjoy spacious rooms equipped with HD flat panel television sets, microwave ovens, refrigerators and other basic items that the regular traveler would need. Apart from all these, guests get to enjoy other gratis services too.

This is a nice Bloomington property. The rooms are newly renovated and they now boast updated décor that will surely suit the taste of the chic traveler.
