The Marriott Minneapolis Airport hotel is a great hotel for someone wishing to visit the Mall of America. It is conveniently close to the Mall--you can take a short, easy walk or use the free shuttle service. The pool area was roomy and had a great design--we loved the glass dome above the pool! The beds were unbelievably comfortable, with plump pillows, a pillow-top mattress and a dreamy down comforter. The best sleep I've had at a hotel in ages!
The beds, including pillows, were incredibly comfortable!
Hospitality requests were a little slow in the evenings.

The Marriot Bloomington is a standard hotel with the amenities that one would expect at a business-level accommodation. There is nothing that stands out as superb and nothing that stands out as inadequate. There appears to be an allowance of non-standard guests frequenting the pool area after 9 pm, most likely the staff and their friends and family. The hotel should put a stop to that if they do not wish to see their star rating fall below that of a 2, relegating them to the ranks of a Super 8 or Motel 6.

There was 5 of us staying there and we only got 1 king size bed and the sofa sleeper so needless to say we did not have much room. The pool was small and nothing to brag about. They did have good bath and body products in the bathroom but the shower did not have good pressure and the water kept going from hot to cold.
I liked the location.
No complimentary breakfast and restaurant was very expensive.

Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?
Several clients say that this is not the greatest Marriott but the employees are extremely efficient and friendly and the rates are reasonable for the facilities offered. Many guests said the location was good, close to the airport and the Mall of America, and they would stay here again and recommend the property to others. Those who dined at the hotel said the food was good but expensive. Fortunately there were good places to eat close to the hotel which were more affordable.
