The five-story, non-smoking hotel is within walking distance of the Mall of America and an Ikea store. Items included with the room rate are local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel has 23 meeting rooms for business or social functions. The largest, the grand ballroom, can accommodate 600 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include five golf courses, the Minnesota Zoo, Valley Fair, Twins and Vikings games at the Metrodome, Target Center, Xcel center, Walker Art Center and Fort Snelling.

Several clients say that this is not the greatest Marriott but the employees are extremely efficient and friendly and the rates are reasonable for the facilities offered. Many guests said the location was good, close to the airport and the Mall of America, and they would stay here again and recommend the property to others.
