The hotel is very clean and includes free continental breakfast. There is also a swimming pool, if you are interested in that kind of thing. It's just a short drive to downtown Traverse City and is within sight of the Traverse Mall.

Traverse city's Fairfield Inn sits slightly off the beaten track in a wooded area of us31. This Pristine hotel has all the accommodations a business or leisure traveler could want. Upon entering, you are greeted by a service desk staff member just waiting to help you with all of your reservation needs. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate is available 24 hours a day along with fresh fruit. A beautiful pool of blue water awaits the welcomed traveler as they begin their walk to their room. Convenience machines and ice are available on each floor. Washer and dryers are available and in a special room accessible with your hotel card key. This hotel is truly one to visit when traveling to or thru traverse city.

Fairfield inn exceeded all expectations in design, cleanliness and atmosphere.

A certain desk clerk that had an attitude about my service dog.

The 85-room Fairfield Inn by Marriott Traverse City provides reasonably priced accommodation equally suited to the business or leisure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking is located behind the Cracker Barrel, next to the Sam's Club, and close to the Grand Traverse Shopping Mall. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Area landmarks and attractions include five golf courses, the Chateau Grand Traverse Winery, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leelanau Casino, Turtle Creek Casino and the Dennos Museum.
