The hotel was clean but for the price that we paid, I would have liked at least a coffee pot. Somehow either I got mixed up or they did, but we ended up in a smoking room, which reeked of smoke. We had to get something to get rid of the smell. That is why its nice to have Walgreen's close and Glens groceries store also. Otherwise we did have a nice stay.
It was a nice location. If one needed something to snack on, there is a store close by and a Walgreen's walking distance. We enjoyed the hot tub.
The fact that we ended up in a smoking room and it did not have a coffee pot.

This is not the most popular hotel in Traverse City but we allow this Econo Lodge a YES rating because the rates are among the lowest in the area and there were visitors who enjoyed their stay here. Several clients complained about maintenance problems, a poor attitude from the front desk staff and the need for better housekeeping. Despite all those problems some guests were lucky and said they found the employees friendly and helpful and they said they world stay here again thanks to the affordable prices.
