If you just want a place to sleep and all, this hotel is fine. I found the hotel to be clean. The staff was helpful when I got lost and helped me get back to the hotel. I was very unhappy though that I could not check in before 3pm. I had to stay in a hotel in Auburn Hills the day before I came to this hotel because of their policy or I would have spent my entire 4 days in Detroit at this hotel. This hotel would not even hold my bags like a lot of hotels do. Very disappointing aspect.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very dissatisfied that I could not check in before 3p.m.

I was greeted by friendly staff upon walking in the hotel. The front desk agent recommended places to eat and even called me in my room to make sure everything was satisfactory. The next day I proceeded to check out at 11 am. I needed a ride to the airport and I was asked what time my flight was. When I told the agent that my flight was not until 7 pm he suggested that I stay in my room until a later time so that I would not have to wait at the airport very long.

The staff and accommodations exceeded the one star rating.

The star level the hotel was given.

The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and they are exactly what they claim to be, a great hotel for an extended stay. Unlike some other extended stay facilities I've seen these rooms are brightly decorated with newer appliances and clean kitchens. The location isn't perfect but the trade off for location in this situation is worth it. For anyone needing a place to stay extended or not I would choose this hotel.
