The hotel itself couldn't have been nicer and staff were very responsive to a number of things that went wrong. they sent an ionizer to clear the room of cigarette smoke and went out of their way to accommodate me. had it not been for the guy in the next room being so obnoxious, my stay would have been ideal. staff were responsive to that as well.

Staff could not have been more helpful, breakfasts were great. bed was great.

Smoking room only available, guy next door made calls at 2-3am and screamed every night, walls paper thin.

My son and I were very pleasantly surprised to find extremely comfortable new beds, recently redone quiet rooms. All the staff is exceptionally friendly & helpful: ready to go the extra mile to assure the best hotel stay in years equivalent to 4-5 star hotels we normally stay in. Great breakfast too. This is one of the best managed hotels we've stayed in in years. All staff is exceptional. We have stayed in this hotel twice in the past 4 weeks for a week. We have stayed the Fairfield Inn 2 doors down which is extremely poorly managed: the WORST stay we have had in years. We will be back every trip to the Detroit Area to this Hampton Inn. Superb Stay & Hotel Management.

We wish this Hampton Inn had a pool, microwave & mini fridge in each room.

Yes, I would recommend the Hampton Inn in Detroit/Madison Heights, Michigan to my family and friends. The staff is very friendly and efficient. This hotel is clean and quiet. The complimentary breakfast is great. Cookies are served in the evening. Free dinners are offered during the weeknights. The fitness room is very spacious. There are many amenities in the guest rooms including wireless internet and a big flat screen television. The property, lobby and breakfast area has been recently renovated. This hotel is conveniently located close to downtown restaurants, shopping and some nice attractions.
