This hotel was very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel gave complimentary drinks which was not expected. The front desk clerk gave me discount coupons to use for local dining. The hotel offered a hot breakfast buffet, which we were very disappointed to have missed. Loved this hotel!

I really liked location. It was very easy to find and to get back on the expressway to continue my trip up north.

Everything met my expectations!

The 129-room Courtyard by Marriott Lansing is a garden-style motor inn two miles from Michigan State University and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both business and leisure traveler. The two-story, non-smoking hotel has two meeting rooms for business or social functions. The larger, the Terrace Room, can accommodate 35 guests. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The golf courses at Hawk Hollow and Eagles Eye are two miles from the property. Area attractions include the State Capitol, Potter Park Zoo, Michigan International Speedway and Sleepy Hollow State Park.

Many visitors to this hotel noted that it was not the usual style Marriott Courtyard. The property is spread out over pleasant gardens and is only two stories high. Good features were the spacious grounds and rooms and a crew of employees that was efficient and friendly. Most former clients said the rates were reasonable but they do not include breakfast. There is no elevator. If climbing stairs to your room is a problem get accommodation on the ground floor.
