The two-story, non-smoking hotel has two meeting rooms for business or social functions. The larger, the Terrace Room, can accommodate 35 guests. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The golf courses at Hawk Hollow and Eagle’s Eye are two miles from the property. Area attractions include the State Capitol, Potter Park Zoo, Michigan International Speedway and Sleepy Hollow State Park.

Many visitors to this hotel noted that it was not the usual style Marriott Courtyard. The property is spread out over pleasant gardens and is only two stories high. Good features were the spacious grounds and rooms and a crew of employees that was efficient and friendly. Most former clients said the rates were reasonable but they do not include breakfast. All the guestrooms have a large work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, refrigerator, cable television with movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. There is a separate shower and a bathtub with spray jets.

The Courtyard Café only serves breakfast but there are numerous places to eat nearby including an Applebees, Damon’s Steakhouse and Max and Erma’s Restaurant. There is an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness center. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include copy and fax machines for guest use, a coin-operated laundry, valet dry-cleaning, vending machines and a picnic area with barbecue grill.

From Lansing Airport (LAN) 5 miles: Upon leaving airport turn right on Grand River Avenue and go approximately one mile to Airport Road. Turn right on Airport Road. Follow Airport Road until you get to I-69 East. Follow I-69 East to I-127 South (exit 89A). The Courtyard is located one mile south off of I-127, at the Lake Lansing Road (Exit 79).
