The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Holland comprises 78 suites designed for the extended stay business or leisure traveler. Each of the suites at this three-story, non-smoking hotel has a fully equipped kitchen and separate living and sleeping areas. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, a manager’s reception on midweek evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel has easy access to I-196 and is a few minutes drive from downtown Holland. Area landmarks and attractions include five golf courses, the Dutch Village, Windmill Island, Veldheers Wooden Shoe Factory and Tulip Farm, The Edge Ice Arena, Settlers House, the Holland Museum and Craigs Crusers Family Fun Center.

Travelers to this Residence Inn said it offered great value for money, the suites were spacious and clean and the attentive employees make that extra effort to insure everyone had a good time. Several guests said that was a necessity, unless you were prepared to wait for a taxi to take you to the downtown attractions. All of the suites have a fully equipped kitchen with a conventional and microwave oven, stove, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, toaster oven and a full set of cutlery and crockery. There is a fireplace, work desk with high-speed Internet access, television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone.

This hotel has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and a health club. The inn offers a grocery shopping service and has a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel. From Grand Rapids Airport (GRR) 32 miles: Exit airport follow signs to M6 - towards Holland. Keep straight on M6. In five miles merge onto I-196 west, towards Holland. Follow I-196 west to Exit 49 (M-40). Turn right on M-40. Follow M-40 1/4 mile to Southpointe Ridge Road. Turn right on Southpointe Ridge. Follow Southpointe Ridge 1/8 mile. The Residence Inn will be on the left.
