Area landmarks and attraction include four golf courses, the Grand Rapids Convention Center, the Frederik Meijer Gardens, the Gerald R. Ford Museum, Grand Rapids Children's Museum, Canonsburg Ski Resort, Van Andel Arena and shopping at Woodland Mall and the Breton Village Shopping Center.

Frequent visitors to Grand Rapids say this is an excellent place to stay. The location is good, near chain restaurants and shops, and the suites are spacious and spotless. There were good reviews about the helpful and efficient staff who had lots of helpful tips on places to visit. There were some complaints about the plastic cutlery. Other features are a work desk with high-speed Internet access, television with cable news and movie channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. Video games and players are available for rent.

Enter onto Interstate 96 heading west. Take exit 30B Alpine Avenue (M-37) North. Follow Alpine Avenue to the first intersection. Turn right onto Center Drive. Follow Center Drive 1/4 mile. The SpringHill Suites will be on the right hand side.
