The Inn on Ferry Street in the historic district of Detroit boasts the best service and elegant accommodations. The hotel, consisting of restored two carriage houses and four Victorian homes, has all facilities to host various social events. Some of the famous museums of the state, Fox Theatre and Detroit Science Center are just a short stroll away from the property. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service within five-mile radius.

The quaint hotel, steeped in the history, has well-appointed rooms. However, there are no onsite dining and recreational facilities. The hotel does not have a lift / elevator. All travelers except a few enjoyed the stay at the Inn and would love to stay at the hotel again. They liked its cozy, clean and immaculate rooms with comfortable beds, décor, convenient location, shuttle service, breakfast and helpful staff. Inn on Ferry Street Accommodations

Each of 40 accommodations features modern amenities and a private bathroom. All rooms have a personal coffee maker armoire w/25-inch television, wireless Internet access, steam iron and ironing board, CD player and hair dryer. Some rooms even have a whirlpool bath. The Pungs House, the former home of William Pungs, has uniquely decorated nine rooms. The rooms are furnished with white painted furniture, cherry sleigh bed and Victorian sofa. There are seven guest rooms in the John R. Carriage House.

Amenities offered

The guests can exercise in the world-class fitness center. They can use complimentary and secure parking lot for their vehicles. They can savor complimentary freshly baked cookies, fresh fruits, teas and coffees any time during the day besides breakfast in the morning. For small social events, workshops and business meetings, guests can use parlor space and private conference rooms. The Raymond C. Smith Terrace and Garden is a good place to host receptions.
