This hotel is great. The location, the view, the rooms and the service were all great. It also has all the services that a business person needs.

This was a great hotel to stay with great bedding and an incredible view of downtown. The lobby is nice and it's nice to have many GM vehicles in the lobby to peruse. But I have reservations about the location. At night, a great many people are always milling about, and the downtown crowd is mostly ghetto. But if you're driving, the valet crew is fantastic. I would return to this hotel.

The Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, overlooking the Detroit River, is a non-smoking property. This three star hotel is a 5-minute drive on a bridge / in a tunnel from Windsor, Canada. The People Mover public transportation system connects the hotel to the major sights. The New Detroit Science Center, Detroit Zoo, The Henry Ford and Corporate Mind & Body Spa are quite close to the hotel.

This multi-storied hotel is a good place for budget travelers on holiday and business. The hotel only offers basic amenities. The guests can explore nearby sites for golf, snow skiing, bowling, sailing and tennis. All guests liked its location. Most of them were satisfied with everything. But they found the huge premises of the hotel very confusing. Poor service, low-quality food, lack of cleanliness, smoke smell and small bathrooms and rooms were major concerns of a few guests.
