Guests experienced quite different stays depending on their position of their rooms. Public areas are very noisy. If you get stuck at the end of a hall near an elevator, you'll be lucky to get any sleep, say some former visitors. Basic rooms are reported to be very basic, with guests comparing them to Super 8 lodging. With just a small upgrade however, you'll be faced with quite a spacious area in which to stretch out. The pool and whirlpool are very nice and clean, though they usually close half an hour earlier than stated. Hyatt Regency Dearborn Accommodations

A number of room options exist to meet the needs of travelers. Basic accommodations include one king or two double beds with fluffy pillows, and thick bedding. A spacious work area with extra ports, and lighting, an AM/FM alarm clock radio, hairdryer, iron and coffee maker. Options and upgrades range from handicap accessible rooms to concierge-floor suites.

Starting with complimentary parking, or valet (even for vans and RVs) for $15/day, you'll find your needs have already been met once you stop for the evening. From lobby to guest room, you'll have access to high-speed wireless internet service. Two restaurants and a lounge mean you don't have to leave the comfort of your hotel at the end of a long day. Order room service and you won't even have to leave your room. A business center in the lobby gives you access to a wide variety of services, ranging from copy and fax to secretarial and package shipping. From Detroit Metropolitan Airport: Take William G. Rogell Drive to East Service Road. Continue straight onto Merriman Road. Move to I-94 E, and take Exit 204. Follow the left lane onto M-39/Southfield FWY NORTH. Next, take Exit 6, onto Michigan Ave/ US-12 West, then continue on to Evergreen Road on the right. Veer right again to Valley View Drive. Turn right at Town Center Drive.
