I would recommend to a solo traveler and also to a family if they are driving.

Close to conference I attended.

Nothing to dislike, only stayed two nights for business.

Items included with the room rate at this four-story, non-smoking property are a hot breakfast buffet served between 6am until 9.30am or a breakfast to-go bag, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a copy of USA Today, in-room coffee and parking. There is a boardroom available for business or social functions that can accommodate 12 guests. The hotel is 14 miles from downtown Detroit. Other area landmarks and attractions include the Henry Ford Greenfield Village, Detroit Zoo, Comerica Park, Ford Field, the Joe Louis Arena, Palace of Auburn Hills, Bloomfield Hills and Windsor, Canada which is 18 miles from the property.

Travelers to this Detroit suburb say this Holiday Inn offers great value for money and has very comfortable and clean rooms. The complimentary breakfast was better than many clients expected and they were delighted with the friendly and efficient service they received from the cheerful team of employees. Many liked the location, within walking distance of good shopping and dinning, and said they would use this hotel on future visits to the area.
