This hotel was an unexpected delight amongst the cookie cutter hotels of the airport circuit. Everything from the 1920's decor to the troll in the lobby made the stay great fun. The staff was professional and helpful. I wandered down the halls just looking at the time piece furniture and endless framed pictures of classic cars. I only wish I had a reason to stay longer rather than catch a plane out the next morning.

A fantastic decor and atmosphere, it was like diving back to the 1920s.

Very convenient--immediately off the expressway. Quirky, old-style (weird) decorating. Our room was clean and everything worked. We discovered too late that there was a giant mall just across the expressway with many choices of places to eat, shop, etc. Price was right: I'd stay there again.

Close to my business appt. In Melvindale. Close to IKEA!

Best Western Greenfield Inn is an elegant Victorian style retreat that is conveniently located off Oakwood Boulevard, and I-94 which leads directly into the heart of Allen Park as well as the greater Detroit area, where ample amusements can be found. Outdoor enthusiasts may appreciate being within walking distance of several parks, as well as within a couple miles of great golf courses. For an easy bite the hotel offers room service, and O'Henry's Restaurant & Pub which features a relaxing lounge to unwind in. Wireless high-speed internet is available from anywhere on the property, including the patio.

The staff is welcoming, efficient and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Accommodations are very large, immaculate and have great mattresses, but feature fairly old furnishings. Public areas are comfortable though the décor could do with some renovating. The on-site restaurant, although not particularly healthy, is delicious. There are several casual dining options in the area as well as a mall with many stores located across the interstate.
