Springfield is an ideal place to visit for museum lovers. Head over to the Quadrangle, which is located in center of the city, and visit fantastic museums and gardens. It is also home to the Dr. Seuss Memorial. In general though the buildings located in this area are quite stunning so even if you don’t get a chance to visit each place, you’ll at least be able to enjoy the architecture. Sports fans will also love visiting Springfield. How can they not since its claim to fame is being the birthplace of Basketball. The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is even shaped like a basketball. Inside you’ll find great information and tributes to players, coaches and referees.
