Once home to the Massachusetts elite, Salem’s streets are lined with stunning houses and fantastic museums. One of the homes worth mentioning is the House of Seven Gables. Built back in 1668 it is a stunning example of 17th century architecture. Ironically it comes complete with its own secret staircase. Of course Salem is also known for its infamous Salem Witch Trials. Be transported back into history as you partake in the ‘Cry Innocent’ production where you’ll be part of the jury that decides either a guilty or not guilty verdict. It’s really quite something to see… and hear. With Salem being so close to the water it gives you a fantastic opportunity to walk along the waterfront and view the city along the water’s edge.
