It is centrally located in downtown Pittsfield. The rooms are quite nice and the bedding more luxurious than most hotels. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated, and the maid service was quite good.

It was centrally located and had nice appointments.

Wish it had offered at least a free continental breakfast.

This hotel is the finest in the Berkshires, certainly in Pittsfield. It is in a central location, and it is clean and attractive.

The lobby and rooms themselves were very clean and nicely appointed. Furnishings were worn but comfortable and more elegant than utilitarian. Unfortunately a lot of that mood was ruined when leaving the hotel proper, largely for two reasons: first, the garage was very run-down with many unsecured cables dangling from the ceiling and unsightly mold on the walls and puddles of stagnant water on the floor. Second, the pool area was downright disgusting. The plants are infested with bugs and the area is generally unclean. Staff was polite but impersonal, with a rather distracted air.

The pet-friendly Crowne Plaza Hotel Pittsfield is across the street from the Colonial Theater and comprises 179 rooms designed for the upmarket business or pleasure traveler. This is an older hotel but many guests who stayed here were delighted with the accommodation and said the property was well maintained and the prices were reasonable considering the top quality facilities. Business clients appreciated the location close to many corporate offices and the on-site, well-equipped business center. Most clients said they would stay here again, particularly if they were able to get affordable rates.
