The Econo Lodge Hotel is located near Westover Air Reserve Base, right off of Interstate 90. About eighty miles west of Boston, this Econo Lodge is in close proximity to Six Flags New England, Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, and the MassMutual Center. The beautiful campus of Springfield College is only five miles away, making this a perfect location for visiting students or faculty. The Chicopee River is nearby and provides a place for fishing and canoeing on the water, and biking or picnicking along the shore. Additionally, there are several parks and recreation areas in the surrounding town and the outdoorsman (or woman) will enjoy staying in Chicopee. Local parks offer tennis, playgrounds, basketball courts and picnic area. The area also has several restaurants and bars, and Econo Lodge's featured DKR Lounge, adjacent to the hotel.
