The hotel and staff was 4-star level, but their lack of responsibility with respect to the damage of my car is disappointing. The valet service was paid through the hotel as their service. I had be hesitant to recommend this hotel to others.

Modern, clean and excellent location in City of Boston.

My car was scratched/dented by the hotel valet service and hotel management deflected responsibility for this.

This hotel is definitely impressive. The hotel is nicely located close to great dining, attractions and neighborhoods, with the T only 3 blocks away. The room was nice, with a great bathtub. The rum and champagne bar looked happening but we were too tired to partake in the festivities. There is also a nice outdoor lounging area by the water. A great all the way around.

A great harbor location with the T close by and plenty of places within walking distance.

The bed wasn't as comfortable as we would have liked.

It was a hassle to get coffee, use the fridge without charge, use the phone, get pillows. It was disappointing to pay extra for the surroundings and get shorted on service. It was not the staffs fault at all, rather managements policies.

Located on the historic Boston harbor the Intercontental is ideally located for enjoying Boston. While you may not see a ship laden with tea, Boston's beautiful harborfront is home to the aquarium and ferries leaving for Salem or cruising around the harbor. Guests that need to get some business done while in Boston will find themselves at the steps of the financial district. The hotel is a short 10 minute walk to the historic Freedom Trail, Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. The Freedom trail will take visitors back in history as they walk past some of Boston's more infamous sights. A short walk along the waterfront will take visitors to Paul Revere's House and North End, home to many fantastic Italian restaurants and pastry shops. Visitors wanting to visit Cambridge or the John F. Kennedy Museum will find the hotel conventiantly located to the subway station.

What is there not to love about this hotel. Intercontinental is all about luxury and indulgence. The rooms offer guests beautiful views and are very comfortable and welcoming. The hotels location offers guests a respite from the city and a place of tranquility. Location wise the hotel is very central to everything the city has to offer. If you can afford it, indulge.
