Lovin' the Langham - posted on 01/20/2006
My fiance and I stayed at the Langham hotel after my month long travels in Ireland. We had a lovely room with all the amenities to satisfy a weary world traveller. I only wish that our stay was longer and I hope to stay at this lovely hotel again soon.
The Perfect Location - posted on 02/07/2007
My husband and I chose the Langham for our honeymoon. Great location!! Walk 10 min to Boston Commons, Beacon Hill, aquarium, Quincy Market, Old North Church, etc. Our room was completely spotless everyday!! The concierge desk went above and beyond to help us and answer any questions we had. The only bad aspect of this hotel is the phone charge. Bring your cell phone b/c ONE 5 min phone call from your room is VERY EXPENSIVE!!!! If you've never been to Boston you really should stay here...my experience was unbelievable!
Very nice, would stay again - posted on 09/22/2006
This hotel was in a great location to get to all Boston has to offer. Room was beautiful, turn down service very nice, bellman/concierge incredibly friendly. Front desk staff weren't very helpful or nice. Paying for internet access after what we paid for a week's stay was ridiculous. Jazz buffet wasn't worth the money (we were seated in a room where we couldn't even hear the music). Very lovely bar.

This was our first trip to Boston and we were not sure where to stay. Ended up booked at the Langham and the experience was great. Clean large room, courteous staff. Good location. Highly recommended.

Langham formally The Meridian - posted on 07/19/2006
Regulars in Boston know this hotel as the Meridian. We picked it for a quick 2 night stay to take in 2 games at Fenway.Best Price for best rated hotel I found. The subway stops are somewhat of a walk, especially late at night. VERY close to Quincy Market and the waterfront but I would stay elsewhere if you're strictly in for a sox game. Room was VERY nice, beds get made in the morn AND turned down at nite, chocolates, robe and tmrw's weather on your pillow! Valet parking at $25 a day was the cheapest I saw in town. If you can get a nice price for this Hotel it's got my vote.
can't wait to go back - posted on 06/22/2006
my husband and I went for a short getaway to boston and couldn't have been more pleased with the Langham. The staff was top-notch-the rooms extremely comfortable-the bed was awesome and the sheets the best-the shower-head in the shower had perfect water pressure-and although I had read from other travelers' reviews the the rooms didnot have their own thermostats, our room did and we could control the temp. Great location to sight-see and the subway system so easy to use.
Romantic get away - posted on 04/03/2006
This was my first stay at the hotel. It was a very fine hotel,.Staff friendly, wonderful ly prepared french cuisine food. The piano bar was nice. The pool and hot tub were great to relax in. I thought the room was above average. Parking was expensive but the location was very convenient for walking to nearby attractions. I would definatly go back for another visit.
Very Pleasant Stay - posted on 11/18/2005
Super location near Faneuil Hall and not far from North End. Great beds and nice personal touches - terrycloth robes, chocolates on pillows, ya-da, ya-da. The fitness center and pool were way above normal standards. Parking costs are very steep during the week, but reasonable on weekends.

I would stay there again, big room, nice staff, great location.
Outstanding - posted on 01/21/2005
We have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel twice and we are soon to return in Feb 2005. Great rooms, simply the best staff we have ever encountered. The pool is superb and a must to relax in (take your swimwear) before your day of great shopping at very close by stores. No need for a car at this great location and now only a short Taxi ride from the airport as the big dig nears completion.
Great...at a price - posted on 11/12/2004
Hotel was wonderful. The staff attended to every detail, making it a great stay. Warning; although it is a high priced hotel, the 45 dollar cost for breakfast shocked me. I didn't try it. After all, what am I going to eat for breakfast worth 45 bucks. Plus, they charge 51 if you want a mimosa. A little too steep for me. Otherwise, it was a great hotel.
Pleasantly surprised! - posted on 10/22/2004
I learned about this hotel while attending a meeting at the Langham Hotel in Hong Kong (which is exceptional as well). I travel internationally for business on a regular basis, so I tend to be one of those hard to impress travellers, yet I was very impressed by this hotel. My room was spacious, airy and had a beautiful view of the park. The hotel staff was outstanding, even by international standards and the facilities will delight you. I will be sure to return and would highly recommend it to those travelling to the area.
