What a Mistake - posted on 11/06/2006
We specifically choose this hotel because we called ahead of time to make sure the cribs available were standard cribs and not pack n plays and were told they were standard cribs. When we arrived what was given to us was a pack n play in which my 23 month old climb out of with in seconds of being placed in it. It was a very sleepless night for us. The service was horrible when we confronted a manager about this issue. The food was horrible as well. We will never be staying at an Embassy Suite again!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Embassy suites. We had great service, except when we called for pick up van one of the girls forget to give the message to the driver. We had to make 2nd call then the driver came right away. The valets were very friendly.
Too remote - posted on 08/21/2006
I can only recommend this for travellers who need an overnight stay to catch the next plane. Otherwise it is too remote and the facilities do not merit a longer stay
Nice Hotel - posted on 05/01/2006
Rooms were clean. Staff courteous. Breakfast included w/room was only fair - not the norm for an Embassey Suites. Beds were most uncomfortable. MbTA 5min walk will get you anywhere. Fridge in room if opened will cost you extra but you can request one be brought to your room to use for free. Probably wouldn't stay here again when in Boston.
always coming back - posted on 01/29/2006
I've been staying at this hotel with my two kids every 6 months since fall 04. We love the breakfast buffet and reception with free food. We would eat a large lunch out and only need to buy a meal once a day. The suites are great to separate sleeping and living space. The pool is a nice feature- if only the water was warmer! Airport and T shuttle make getting anywhere easy. (The neighborhood doesn't look like a nice place to walk.) Each time we plan a trip to Boston, I check out other hotels, but we always end up back here because it offers the most for the money in a convenient location!

The only complaint I had was the poorly maintained gym.Everything else was more than sufficient for a business traveler, especially when you rent a car from Hertz as the hotel is across the street from Hertz drop off!
very nice - posted on 09/22/2005
we could hear the voice of next room because the wall was thin, but the room was very nice. I liked the hotel.

Some things other should know: there is mandatory valet parking which is an addt'l charge, the MBTA station is only a 5 min. walk and will get you anywhere you need to go, the pool is only 3 1/2 feet (which was great for our kids but not okay for the adults), the breakfast was good but not always hot, if you want a fridge for your personal items you will need to request it (the fridge in the room is stocked and you will be charged for it if you open the fridge). The rooms were comfortable and arranged nicely. We thought the staff was very helpful and attentive.
Pleasant stay - posted on 06/29/2005
A pleasant overnighter, but some milk for tea making in the room would have been a welcome addition. Some of the reception staff were less helpful than I had expected when I asked for Information to help with moving to an out of Boston location by rail. But your porter was magnificent.
Great stay - posted on 03/29/2005
Had a wonderful stay in boston, rooms were great definitly need a fridge, breakfast fantastic. P arking to expensive and for the location per night stay is pricey but less expensive then downtown. Enjoy
Great Hotel - posted on 03/13/2005
Stayed here with a group of 8 and we loved it. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was excellent for breakfast and in the restaurant, the rooms were very nice (though they could use a fridge.) The pool and hot tub are tiny. Read the other reviews, and honestly who cares what the outside of the hotel looks like? Parking was a bit expensive.
A good short stay - posted on 02/09/2005
I stayed here this past weekend for a small conference and found the hotel to be quite lovely. The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and very accomodating.
Stay in Town - posted on 09/29/2004
hotel is beside airport but that is it. location is to far from city and outside hotel looks like a war zone, with empty buildings and all the barbed wire. will not stay here again with so many places i found in the city safer and you can walk to the attractions eg Long Wharf or historic boston area, overpriced for what you get, and having to take high priced taxi's to get into Boston and then return to this awful place.
