Love the Seaport - posted on 03/25/2007

I stay here everytime I visit and will continue to stay here. The location is wonderful, you can take public transportation or if you enjoy walking its still close enough

First time in Boston - posted on 03/06/2007

Very nice people work at this place! We borrowed an umbrella and walked all over town the one day it poured. The lounge is cozy and friendly to strangers. So much to see, but I wish it was closer to main part of Boston. We toured the city for five days and I want to go back soon. I really liked my stay at the Seaport.

Only so-so - posted on 03/29/2006

The Seaport is ok. The rooms are nothing special (but how long are you really going to spend in them?) The big problem is the fact that the only T station nearby is the Silver line, which doesn't run as often as the other lines. There are probably better options closer to downtown, but if you have to settle with this place, it will do.

nice + affordable - posted on 03/23/2006

I would stay here again. The location is adequate and all of the Boston area is easily accessible. I especially liked having a T station just around the corner. The no tipping policy is also refreshing, and the lobby is tastefully decorated. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Having a pod brewer was nice, but the coffee was horrible

Nice Hotel - posted on 10/09/2005

Stayed for 2 nights. Had a wonderful corner room w/ a view of the harbor and beyond. Beautiful hotel w/ no tipping. They make up for it in charges. Room service is EXPENSIVE - $15 for 3 sodas. Restaurant onsite is not very good. There are several computers in the lobby w/ internet access for no charge. There is also a business center for guests.

Too expensive! - posted on 06/24/2005

This hotel is overpriced! It cost over $X and was not that great. The room had older furniture, and nothing great to speak of to lead to that price. The service is good, and the check-in person was excellent, and I like not having to tip. However, the room was not that great, and it was not worth the price.

No harborview, dingy, disappointing - posted on 06/03/2005

stayed for a weekend getaway, turns out the rooms look nothing like the hotel shows on the website, they are dark and the bedding looks like it's from the 1970's. It is also not free-standing like it shows. We checked back out 1 hour after trying to explore and find something good. Management refused to let us go without paying a $50 cleaning fee. Management was completely unresponsive to complaints.

Seaport Hotel Recommendation - posted on 04/22/2005

Great experience at the Sea Port Hotel in Boston. First time staying at this hotel. Good sized, modern rooms with all the amenities. Service was terrific. I was not disappointed with any aspect of this hotel's service or the facility itself.
