Clean & Quiet - posted on 06/03/2007

Nice clean hotel. I stayed with my young daughter and husband. We were out mostly but enjoyed a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. Pool was beautiful- a bit cold but nice.

Nice Hotel - posted on 04/10/2007

The amenities are nice and clean, the concierge was friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to the train, T and local shopping. The view is not great (might be better on higher floors). The attached parking lot is being worked on, so don't plan on sleeping past 8am on the lower floors. The restaurant is expensive, but a mall with a food court is just across the street.

Would not stay here again - posted on 02/10/2007

If you want a place where the lights may not come on, where the water pressure is minimal, and where the air conditioning is minimal, then this is the place for you. Conference attendees beware! This hotel should be avoided.

decent for the money - posted on 11/27/2006

The hotel and our room was nice and quite comfortable, although I was expecting the room to be a bit nicer given the high rating here. The toilet in the room didn't work, but it was repaired as soon as we brought it to their attention. The thermostat seemed to be for decoration only, and the room was always a bit too warm for my taste. Comfortable bed and good sized room were pluses. All in all, worth the price I paid.

Brrr.......! - posted on 11/08/2005

Writing this from my room, wrapped in a blanket. Engineer explains they can only have either heat or air conditioning throughout the entire hotel. One side of the hotel is 15 degrees hotter than the other. So, on the cold side, where our room is, we can't have heat if the outside temperature is above 50. Otherwise the conference rooms on the other side get too hot. Go figure. And stay somewhere else. The subway may be warmer.

a major disappoinment - posted on 08/28/2005

I was shocked to find out what 250 a night buys in this hotel. The room was barely ordinary, you couldn't turn around in the bathroom without bumping into something, there was no exceptional service provided--unless you cout the rude and unwelcome rap at the door at 8:a.m., delivering our bill. This hotel seems to trade on its good location, but has nothing else to reccomend it. I will never pay so much for so little again.

Not worth it - posted on 05/31/2005

Please be advised, this hotel looks good on the web, but when you get there its a whole diffrent story. Old decor in some of the rooms(the cheaper ones), Expensive parking and bad service. There are much better Hotels for the same price right next door to this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, appears to be recently renovated. Wonderful French restaurant. Warm staff. Concierge was always staffed.

loved it, great location - posted on 03/07/2005

Stayed here with three of my kids for the weekend. Great location, subway is right there, staff super friendly, great rooms. Kids loved the Cheesecake Factory next door. Best stay in Boston so far.
