The hotel staff was very courteous, friendly, and very willing to go the extra mile. If you want stuff to do this hotel was in China Town, near just a couple easy walking blocks to the Opera House. Parking is 32 a night...very high but it is the city.

The hotel was in a perfect location for us and staff was top notch

The breakfast buffet was almost $11 each and was not great

Rooms were like all others in the world. Beds, showers and TV. While adequate they weren't any better or worse than all others.

The hotel was clean and had nice rooms with all the amenities you would expect; however it is better to go in pairs around this neighborhood. I would not reccomend a female alone.

The location was near shoping, transportation and resturants.

There were a lot of bums around the neighborhood and we did not feel safe.

The 267-room Doubletree Hotel Boston-Downtown is located in the heart of Boston and provides quality accommodation designed for the upmarket business and pleasure traveler. Items included with the room at this non-smoking hotel are high-speed Internet access, in-room coffee and a morning newspaper. There are five meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 300 guests. The property is within walking distance of the citys theater district, Chinatown, the Boston Common, Boston's Public Garden, Tufts Medical Center and the Floating Hospital for Children. The Feng-Shui designed hotel was once home to the prestigious Don Bosco High School.

Couples and families in Boston to see the sights said this Doubletree Hotel proved to be the ideal base. The rooms here are plush and comfortable and the cheerful crew of employees had lots of helpful hints about sightseeing and knew the best places to shop and dine. Most first-time visitors said they would certainly stay here again and had no hesitation in recommending the property to fellow travelers.
