We enjoyed the accomodations..Very plush room and bathroom..close by to Mass Pike for egress and parking was expensive like all of Boston. especially the suite upgrade for 'smoking" room...

Stayed at the Eliot in Sept. 05 and had a great experience. The one bedroom suites are lovely and well priced - great location near Newbury St and Fenway Park and close to subway station. Highly recommend!

This was areal find...been staying in Boston for years and never knew it was there.great location and old world charm, pleasant staff and very clean

I stayed here for one night, and thank god it was only one night. It is a very old hotel, no lobby, elevators take FOREVER, and it has no room service except at 5 when the restaurant downstairs opens up. I had a suite, and the suite area with the couch, tv, workspace was nice but the room was VERY TINY and the bathroom was even smaller!!! Talk about hitting your head. Also, the tub was dirty and paint was chipping from the walls and the windows (that looked out on a dirty alley) were very drafty. It should not be 4 star at all, more like 3.
