Very happy - posted on 05/02/2006
This is the second Sheraton Hotel I have stayed at in the last six months. I was very happy both times and impressed with the yahoo connectivity in the lobby. Thank you.
Nice weekend - posted on 06/02/2007
Hotel was very nicely renovated, except it appears they forgot the bathrooms. The vanities were granite which was nice, however the tubs were old with dated pink tile surround. Other than that, the hotel was great, huge lobby with multiple free internet-accessed computers to use. A/C was set too high-very cold in lobby. Starbucks in lobby a nice bonus. Easy access to subway and connected mall.
Boston Marathon - posted on 04/22/2007
This was a great place to stay for the Boston Marathon. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. Room was a little cramp, but ok for 2.
Great Experience! - posted on 04/16/2007
I was alittle concerned due to some of the previous feedback, but we stayed here for 7 nights and it was a great experience. Room was on the 29th floor, right across from hospitality room (which offered complimentary continental breakfast and happy hour munchies- serving staff was super). Room was extremely clean (great view also), all staff was very friendly-quick check in, pool/hot tub nice, & hotel is very conveniently located. What more could you ask for!!! Would definetly recommend.

Excellent hotel for singles, business travellers, conferences etc. Connected to Prudential Center with lots of shops and restaurants, and its own subway station.
1200 Rooms - posted on 04/07/2007
This is a large convention hotel and the rooms show the wear and tear of it. Great location but rooms worn and slightly dated.

This hotel was GREAT! The customer service was fabulous and the room was wonderful. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking to have a great time in Boston. Thje location was within walking distance of so many attractions and the hotel itself is very nice and clean...it is also attached to a mall and the Prudential Center. The Hotel is also located close to many pubs and a splendid shopping area, with many historical sights to see along the way!
Great Location - posted on 03/23/2007
The hotel is close the T and it is easy to get anywhere in Boston. The rooms are plush and have the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in while traveling. The room service prices are expensive, so grab a quick breakfast at the Starbucks in the lobby.
BOSTON- TRACK MEET TRIP - posted on 03/15/2007
BEING ABLE TO SHOP AT ALL THE STORES WITHOUT GOING OUTSIDE WAS GREAT, HOWEVER LOW-MID PRICE STORES WOULD BE A WONDERFUL ADDITION. HAVING T STATIONS CONNECTED TO BUILDINGS MADE IT EXTREMELY EASY TO GET AROUND AND NOT TO HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT CONDITIONS OUTSIDE.
Great Stay - posted on 01/22/2007
We stayed at this hotel over New Years. The service of the staff was very good, the bar is great to relax in after a long day, and the room was very well appointed with great views. The staff honored our request for a quiet room. The only thing that could use improvement would be the bathtub caulking and tile surround, but that is nitpicking a bit. Overall great stay.
Excellent Hotel - posted on 11/08/2006
The hotel service and accomidations were amazing. The only drawback is the cost of the work out room. The view was amazing and there's absolutely nothing to complain about.
Needs Improvement: N/A
Okay place to stay - posted on 11/07/2006
The hotel was good, but if working out is as important to you as it is to me, other places might offer a better value. There is an additional charge to use the gym and some of the equipment doesn't work.
GREAT HOTEL!! - posted on 10/27/2006
The hotel was very easy to find and the subway station was so close you didn't even have to go outside. This hotel is connected to the Prudential Center which contains shopping and restaurants as well as tour operators and other information. Great place to stay in Boston!!
late check out - posted on 10/25/2006
we were running over the check out time and i called the front desk for additional time about 40 minutes, they told me i needed to be out in 10 minutes if not they would charge me 100 dollars.
Business Stay - posted on 10/22/2006
Rooms were clean and had computer hookup. Variety of resturants around the hotel - withing walking distance. Also large shopping complex for those who like shop.
Excellent location and rooms - posted on 10/18/2006
Our room was very spacious, check in with the automated kiosk was super-easy, location was perfect and close to Hynes T line. The hotel is connected to the shops and restaurants at the Prudential Center. This was very convenient on rainy days of our trip and also if you want to skip exhorbitant room service charges. Since it's a convention hotel the room service rates were very pricey. We would definitely stay here again.
Great service, rooms and location - posted on 10/10/2006
I visited Boston with my parents for the first time and the experience was great. Service was friendly and courteous. Our rooms were recently renovated and very nice and spacious. Good location. Overall very impressed and reasonably priced.
Great location and a great price - posted on 10/06/2006
We were very pleased with this hotel. We got a great rate. The hotel was conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. Very clost to transportation - just a couple of stops on the T to get into Fanieul Hall. Service at the bar and restaurants was great. This is a great hotel for buisness travel. We were there on vacation but they definately were more business focused. I prefer this type of hotel. They are equipt to handle large crowds. We couldn't have been happier.
Great place to spend a weekend! - posted on 09/24/2006
Even though the rooms are a bit shabby for a 3 star hotel, the staff was great-our flight arrived at 7:00 & they gave us early check in, which was fabulous after a 6 hour flight! They were great about answering questions, arranging transportation, etc. Will definitely stay again.
The Sheraton - posted on 09/22/2006
The room we were placed in was way too small for two people. It would be ideal for a single person on business travel. The bathoom had mold and the vents were full of dust. Who knows when they were cleaned. The location was perfect because everything was close, within walking distance. Fenway, Copley Square, Boston Commons, Quincy Market, and great restaurants. The Prudential Ctr, Hyne Convention Ctr, the T, two malls and The Westin Hotel can be accessed without going outside.
Overall... Not Bad - posted on 09/21/2006
Nice hotel. Room was a little small, but my wife and I like each other. pretty well. Requested king bed would have been great, but the queen was sufficient.

Right in the Boston Back Bay. Close to the subway, Fenway and connected to the Prudential. Excellent place to stay.

I woke up at 6am to dogs barking (in the hotel) the shower had a hand held thing so I had to SIT in the TUB to shower!! HATED IT!!
great hotel - posted on 08/18/2006
This was a great hotel to stay at. It was connected to a mall. It was conveniently located next to Fenway and all of downtown Boston.

Great Game Great Hotel! - posted on 07/20/2006
We had a great time in Boston and part of that was due to the convenience of our hotel! The Sheraton is close to all areas of Boston, including Fenway Park, Boston Commons, Fanueil Hall and Great Shopping!! The rooms at the Sheraton are very spacious and the bed was exquisite! We also had a fantastic view from our room. From what I understand we were in a renovated portion of the hotel, so ask for a room in that tower if possible. All of the hotel staff were very helpful.
happy - posted on 04/26/2006
We stayed in the south tower. The room was recently updated so the furniture was new but I guess the chairs haven't arrived yet because there was only a desk chair. I called and they brought banquet chairs - better than nothing. The desk lamp was broken, but quickly replaced when I called the help desk. Check-in & check-out were easy with the computer kiosks. Overall, convenience outweighed any problems.

nice hotel, conected to a shopping mall, what it is perfect for winter time in Boston!
Needs Updating - posted on 10/17/2005
I've stayed here 4 times for conventions, most recently in September 05. This was my first time in the South Tower versus the North. The hotel is clean and in a great location, and I got the King room I requested, but this South Tower room was in bad need of updating. Literally nothing matched in my room (from colonial to modern to faux french provincial), the curtains wouldn't block the sun, and the lounge chair was very uncomfortable to sit in. Stay in the North Tower if you can, ask for a water view.
Boston itself was great - posted on 09/01/2005
We visited for a weekend and were disappointed with a few things. The size of the room/bathroom quite small. For the price, we expected better. Also, it was a first time visiting Boston, which was great, but the concierge was not very helpful in suggesting anything. Otherwise, housekeeping, check-in, and valet employees were pleasant.Parking (only vallet) was $37/day, while there was a parking lot right across the street for $15. Otherwise the hotel is in a perfect central loctaion-walking distance to many great places.
My experience... - posted on 07/19/2005
This was the first time I ever stayed in a sheraton and the last. The hotel needs a good renovation from broken locks on toilet doors to dirty and grotty carpet. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything going on in all the rooms on your floor not just the rooms next to you. The roomsa however were clean.
Better than those other ones said - posted on 06/08/2005
We stayed in the Sheraton for four nights and found it to be very pleasant. The beds are particularly comfortable. We were somewhat hesitant because of some of the other reviews we read, but found everything to our liking and the staff to be responsive to the one problem we had (tub didn't drain well). The swimming pool with a retractable glass roof that opened up once the temp reached 70 degrees. Awesome! It is close to almost everything as well as having an entrance to the T (subway) right at the Prudential Center, which is attached to the hotel. We loved it! Go to Boston!
Mildew smell! - posted on 02/21/2005
The hotel is centrally located but our hallway and towels had the disticnt smell of mildew. Go to the 14th floor and smell yourself. The pool was cold and had no towels. The location is the only thing that would make someone stay here.
