Overall, the location of the hotel was most important to me and lived up to expectations. My room, while needing to be renovated, was fine for my stay.

The Marriot Long Wharf is in a perfect location for those looking to take in the sights of Boston. It is in walking distance to some of Boston's top seafood and Italian restaurants as well as being across from the famous Quincy Market. Also, it is in the financial district for those traveling on business. I would recommend this hotel for vacationing families as well as business travelers.

The location was perfect for sightseeing for my wife and daughter as well as convenient for my business meetings in Boston.

The down escalator was out of service for 2 days.

Great hotel, but traveling with a stroller was inconvenient, as you have to take 2 different sets of elevators to get to the rooms.

The Marriott Long Wharf Hotel is designed to resemble the prow of a ship, jutting out--or at least perched upon--the edge of the Boston Harbor. It provides the perfect view of Tall Ships - the July 4th Turnaround of Bostons historic vessel, Old Ironsides and the famous First Night fireworks display.

The hotel is a short walk from Faneuil Hall at Quincy Market, the Boston financial district, Government Center, Italian North End, Old North Church, Paul Reveres House and Childrens Museum and is ideal for business travelers, weekend getaways, and family trips.
