This 500-room luxury hotel in the center of Boston’s historic financial district has undergone a $10.5 million renovation. The Hyatt Regency Boston is one block from the Boston Common and within walking distance of countless attractions, shopping and theaters. The hotel is ideally suited for both business and leisure travelers with updated facilities. In addition to its in-house dining the hotels offers special hampers for picnics in the park that can include special treats for children as well as adults. The hotel needs an hour to prepare the picnics and prices start at $40 for two people, which includes the souvenir hamper. The property is just steps away from Chinatown and Boston’s public transit system.

Previous guests say the location of this property is excellent as you are able to walk to so many downtown attractions. Helpful staff at the front desk was praised for giving directions and advice on when and where to go. Hyatt Regency Boston Accommodations

All of the accommodation – the 500 rooms include 24 suites, 346 kings, 151 twins and six parlor rooms – come with a granite bathroom and hairdryer. Other amenities include work desk with Internet access, 27-inch flat screen cable TV with in-room movies, dual-line telephone with voicemail, minibar, iron and ironing board and coffee maker. Room service is available 24/7.

The hotel’s Avenue One restaurant offers sophisticated dining while the lobby bar has cocktails and lighter fare. There is an indoor swimming pool, sun terrace, eucalyptus steam room and two dry saunas. Massage therapy and personal trainers are available at the fitness center. Ice machines are located throughout the hotel and there is an ATM and gift shop on-site. There is a fully equipped business center and the hotel has a total of 24,400 square feet of function space, including a 5,046 square foot ballroom for business meetings and banquets.

From Logan Airport : (4.4 miles) Follow directions for Ted Williams Tunnel. Go through tunnel and follow signs for exit 25, S. Station. At top of ramp, take a right onto Congress St, follow to D St, take a right onto D St, and your second right onto Summer St. Follow Summer St to Kingston St, turn left into Kingston St then right into Bedford St. Take next left onto Chauncy St then right onto Ave De Lafayette. The hotel entrance is on your right. From South: From 93N take exit 20 "I-90 /Logan Airport/Worcester/S Station". Stay in left lane and follow sign for “S Station”, then signs for Chinatown (about 1 mile). At bottom of ramp, take a left onto Kneeland St. After 5 blocks, take a right onto Washington, then three more blocks, make a right onto Ave De Lafayette. The hotel is located half way down the block on left. From North: Route 95S to Route 93S. Take Exit 20A “S Station”. Off the exit, proceed straight onto Purchase St. At the first set of lights, take a right onto Summer St. After two blocks turn left onto Kingston St. Then take the first right onto Bedford St, left onto Chauncy St and right onto Ave De Lafayette. The hotel entrance is on your right.
