This hotel is a very good deal for a budget-conscious traveler sightseeing or doing business in dc. It is located immediately off the beltway in lingam, mad and they offer a shuttle to the new Carrollton metro station. The hotel shows a little bit of age, but they have a swimming pool, a convenience kiosk in the lobby, refurbished and comfortable rooms with fridges and microwaves, an attentive staff, and a good continental breakfast. There are restaurants across the street and one on the property as well. If you don't mind staying out at the end of the metro line, check this hotel out on your next trip to dc.

Best Western Capital Beltway´s greatest feature is its location, near downtown Washington D.C. There, visitors can visit the White House and the Smithsonian. The hotels surrounding area also offers wonderful opportunities for entertainment, which include NASA Visitors Center and Six Flags® Amusement Park. Additional attractions include the PG Sports Complex and the Fed Ex Field Stadium. Business travelers within easy access of CSC, IRS, Andrews AFB and Bolling AFB. Included in the stay rate is access to a breakfast area where one can munch away while tapping onto wireless high-speed internet. The 24-hour front desk enabled late night express check-out and watches over the safe-deposit-box available. The hotel offers complimentary transportation to the Mero. To unwind after a long day of excursion, stop by the on site Cocktail lounge.

Accommodations are clean and have fine facilities, including great beds and a wide selection of TV channels. Bedding is comfortable and mattresses are great. Staff members are all-around friendly and very service oriented. Some guests find the lounge convenient but excesive to pay a cover if guests at the hotel. Its location is convenient near the metro enabling easy access to DC, however the shuttle frecuency is too limited. Breakfast is nothing to write home about, made up of only cold items, but it is well stocked. Internet connection works fautlessly.
