The morning after sleeping in the most comfortable bed I have experienced, I realized I forgot my hairbrush. I decided to shower first and deal with my tufts of tangles later. After using the devious, hotel supplied bath & body works orange ginger shampoo, conditioner and lotion; I felt refreshing ready for the day. Having dressed and hearing housekeeping in the hall, I hoped a brush would soon be in hand. I walked out the door and, sure enough, one of the staff handed me a brush. What service!

Luxurious accommodations: the most comfortable bed I have slept in, top-notch service, delicious amenities.

I did not like the rather expensive internet services.

The 284-room Marriott Greenbelt provides luxury accommodation for the upmarket business and leisure traveler and is located close to the DC metro system. The 18-story, non-smoking hotel has five concierge levels with upgraded amenities that include rich cherry furniture, a marble-top dresser, and a 32-inch flat-panel LCD TV. The full service hotel is close to the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Fort Meade, Washington DC, downtown Baltimore and its Inner Harbor, FedEx Field and the Annapolis Naval Academy. The property has 14 rooms available for business or social functions. The largest, the Grand Ballroom, can accommodate 600 guests. There are six golf courses within seven miles of the hotel.

Those who got good low rates for this hotel were delighted with the accommodation and service. Those who paid top dollar were not so happy and felt they were overcharged. There were good reviews about the hotels Silver Moon Café, which specializes in seafood. The majority of former visitors said they liked the quiet location and appreciated the free shuttle to the train station, which enabled an easy journey into Washington DC. Those who paid the lower rates said they would use this hotel again provided the price was right. If not they would try other, less expensive properties in the area.
