The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Frederick is designed for the extended stay business or leisure traveler. This four-story, non-smoking hotel has 90 suites with separate living and sleeping areas and fully equipped kitchens. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, hospitality hours on Monday through Thursday evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the inn’s gatehouse 24/7. There are two rooms available for social and business functions. The larger can accommodate 85 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include eight golf courses, antique shopping at historic downtown Frederick, the Monocacy Civil War Battlefield, the Maryland School for the Deaf and the Saint Elizabeth Seton Shrine.

Visitors to Frederick say this is a great place to stay. The suites are spacious and the employees are cheerful and efficient. The prices are reasonable particularly if you take advantage of all the items included in the room rate. Popular spots were the indoor pool, the sport court and the barbecue patio.
