The MainStay Suites Frederick hotel is conveniently located near the cities of Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Hagerstown and Gettysburg. Guests will appreciate its combination of the comfort and convenience of home along with the amenities and services of a fine hotel. When guests are not visiting the nearby shopping centers, historical Civil War battle sites, and numerous outdoor attractions, they will enjoy relaxing in the hotel's large and fully furnished suites. Every suite features separate living, cooking, and sleeping areas, allowing guests to spread out and enjoy their stay. Visitors will also appreciate the quaint decoration and the friendly, helpful staff. Just outside the hotel, there are large grassy areas for pets and children to relax. There are several major restaurants in the area offering a wide variety of cuisine choices for every budget.

Although this hotel offers large suites and full services for a very reasonable price, there have been several complaints about the cleanliness of the suites and the freshness of the food. The staff is friendly and eager to address problems, but many guests will prefer an establishment where complaints are not necessary. The generous pet policy combined with outdoor space makes it a good choice for pet owners.
